    • City of Edmonton: The City has rated the accessibility of their government-run venues on their website. Important note: The city's "good" venues, would fail our accessibility test. We would strongly suggest only booking venues that fall under their ratings of "very good" or "excellent".
    • Website Accessibility: Make sure that all photographs, artwork and navigation links are accompanied by a useful description in their "alt text" box. For more information check out the Web Accessibility Initiative.
    • Describe Accessibility & Barriers: Describe the accessibility of venues on all posters, programs & webpages. Provide a separate, easy to find, "accessibility" link on the event/festival website, and provide a contact for more info or arrangements. The Vancouver Queer Film Festival provides an excellent example of how to describe venue accessibility and how to provide and describe an accessible festival.
